Royal Dutch Shell plc is a global company, and relocating employees is an important way to transfer knowledge and skills and to develop staff. Shell strives to ensure that all employees, including LGBT employees, feel comfortable wherever they are working. It also wants to understand how to best support LGBT employees during transitions. To raise awareness of mobility issues for LGBT employees, the Shell LGBT Netherlands Network organized the Mobility Across the Borders Conference in 2007.
