Through Citigroup Inc.’s program, Meeting Local Needs: Employee Network Groups at Citigroup, a number of Employee Network Groups (ENGs) have been started throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. Initiated in 2002 as part of a larger diversity strategy to attract and retain people who have not historically been represented in the workforce, the ENGs are meant to provide an opportunity for employees with common experiences and perspectives to network and enhance their professional growth.
