Burnout has become a widespread global concern in the workplace, especially as awareness of mental health as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) issue grows. More than just a temporary difficulty, burnout is a psychological and physical exhaustion caused by prolonged stress.
To support workers and help them thrive, organizations will need to tackle burnout as a systemic issue. This overview demonstrates how managers and organizations can work in tandem to recognize, address, and prevent burnout from taking hold.
