How can we leverage emerging technologies to initiate the next stage of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) learning? For Dow, the Covid-19 pandemic and global conversations on social justice in 2020 presented new challenges and opportunities to reimagine DEI education. Dow’s HR and the Office of Inclusion, along with education technology company Mursion, created learning modules featuring virtual reality simulations for leaders, covering the topics of microaggressions and bias in performance evaluations. Participants interact with avatars – controlled by human moderators – who lead them through real-life scenarios of these topics. This experiential learning experience has radically shifted leader mindsets and improved DEI learning outcomes across the company.
Learn how virtual reality and interactive learning can enhance education and awareness of DEI topics. We invite HR leaders, DEI practitioners, and champions of inclusion to register for this event.
