Aledia Evans serves as Senior Director, Corporate Engagement, and as a member of the Catalyst Award Evaluation Committee. As a Chicago native, she is genuinely invested in the advancement of women within the workforce and community. She understands the value of inclusion and remains diligently committed to contributing to increasing opportunities for her peers and the next generation of professional women.
Aledia received a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Education from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University she then went on to receive a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Social and Cultural Foundations in Education from DePaul University. Prior to joining Catalyst, Aledia worked in development at non-profit organizations in New York and Chicago. Her work was focused in the areas of homelessness, adult mental illness and developmental disabilities, physical deformities, and mentorship programming for teen girls from under-resourced communities. Her work experience includes fundraising, marketing, event production, donor and corporate engagement and cultivation, volunteer management and media relations.
