Case Study: Moss Adams LLP—Forum W: Increasing Opportunities for Women in Public AccountingOct 06, 2014
Moss Adams had multiple objectives when it developed its women’s network, Forum for Women (Forum W): the firm was concerned with attracting, retaining, developing, and advancing talented women. Forum W effectively addresses each of these goals to increase women’s representation both at Moss Adams and within the accounting industry more broadly. To help attract women, the firm integrates Forum W into its college-level recruiting content. To support retention, Forum W’s Getting Real workshops address and help women overcome common career-related fears. The networking and mentoring components of Forum W help women develop and advance within the firm, while the publicly available Path to Success series helps promote women’s advancement on a wider scale throughout the industry.
