Case Study: IBM Corporation—Developing High-Potential Women with the Blue Talent Program

IBM’s Blue Talent program provides development opportunities for women in mid-level positions. Its goal is to strengthen the company’s pipeline and reduce attrition rates, while developing women’s business and technical skills. Blue Talent is a global program that began in the Spain/Portugal/Greece/Israel (SPGI) region and now operates in several of IBM’s main business regions, which are called Integrated Marketing Teams (IMTs): Belgium/Luxemburg/the Netherlands (Benelux), SPGI, Norway/Sweden (Nordic), Germany, and the UK.
