Getting Real About Inclusive Leadership – What are Six Manager Behaviours That Predict Inclusion?
While you may be confident in your ability to deliver on business goals, creating a cohesive team where everyone is excited to contribute and innovate can be challenging. Building an inclusive team culture is key.
Catalyst’s new Inclusive Leadership report surveyed over 2,100 employees working at large corporations globally, including in the UK, and found that while company culture and ‘tone from the top’ are important, 45% of employees link their experience of inclusion at work directly to the behaviour of their manager.
And what are the six manager behaviours that predict inclusion? We tested that, too — and we uncovered a model of inclusive leadership that balances both leading outward and leading inward.
Join us for a discussion where John Whalen, Director, Catalyst will take delegates through the report’s key findings, including the five hall marks of inclusion, the six manager behaviours that predict inclusion and how these experiences can tangibly benefit companies and employees. This will be followed by a relaxed, collaborative discussion on how to implement these findings in the workplace. Participants are also encouraged to share their organisation’s experiences, insight and practices.
We invite business leaders, HR professionals, D&I professionals, and champions of inclusion to join the dialogue. Registration is complimentary for Catalyst Supporters. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. For questions, please contact John Whalen at [email protected].
