Catalyst and AMCham Germany host a workshop which provides and opportunity to learn how we can better leverage diverse talent by engaging in behaviors that foster inclusion.
What separates a great manager from a mediocre one? According to Catalyst’s global report, Inclusive Leadership: The View From Six Countries, it’s the ability to lead with an inclusive mindset. On a day-to-day basis, it’s about supporting your team and making employees feel valued for the unique talents and perspectives they bring to the table— without emphasizing their differences so much that they feel alienated. When employees feel included at work, they are better team players and likely to go above and beyond, suggesting new ideas and ways of getting work done—which can boost overall organizational performance. Ihis interactive workshop, Allyson Zimmermann and Dr. Isabelle Kürschner provide an opportunity to learn how we can better leverage diverse talent by engaging in behaviors that foster inclusion.
Through a combination of input, reflection, group work and open dialogue, participants will:
Reach a deeper understanding and awareness of the ‘What, Why, and How of Diversity and Inclusion.
Explore and Practice the ‘How’ of inclusion: Behaviors, Actions, Language and Communication.
We invite business leaders, HR professionals, D&I professionals, and champions of inclusion to join the dialogue. Registration is complimentary for Catalyst Supporters. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. For questions, please contact Dr. Isabelle Kürschner at [email protected]
