Efforts to improve employee work-life effectiveness are a fundamental element of attracting, retaining, and motivating DuPont’s highly talented workforce. For example, when establishing flexible work schedules, DuPont employees and managers focus on how the work can be accomplished. Furthermore, work-life management has become a part of leadership training for new managers. DuPont survey results have shown a correlation between awareness of and/or use of work-life supports and greater reported commitment to the company, and DuPont has received extensive external recognition for its efforts on behalf of its employees.
