Webinar: Nationwide’s Catalyst for Change Associate Exchanges

The world has shifted tremendously over the past months, and in the past several weeks. There are increased complexities, challenges, and disparities in how we are experiencing and navigating these times. Addressing racism in the workplace remains a priority but many organizations are struggling with where to begin. In this series, we are spotlighting Catalyst Supporters who have not shied away from transformative organizational initiatives to address racism.

During this webinar you will hear from Nationwide on how they have used their Catalyst for Change Associate Exchanges to educate, engage, and empower associates to make positive change at Nationwide, in communities, and society. The program offers a safe space where employees can discuss controversial and difficult societal concerns such as homelessness, poverty, employment, educational attainment, political differences, and police relations. The conversations improve employee engagement, as participants learn from local community leaders and one another, find common ground, and collaborate to improve morale and business results. Nationwide’s corporate social responsibility is intertwined so leaders and employees can discuss how employees can provide support to one another and effect positive change within and outside of Nationwide. This program was a component of their 2018 Catalyst Award-winning initiative. Hear about how it has evolved over the years and how these dialogues are even more relevant today.
