Catalyst believes that closing the gender pay gap, along with the gaps in opportunity and leadership, isn’t just the smart thing to do, it’s the right thing to do. We support and applaud efforts to close the pay gap because unless action is taken, it’s not going away. Until women achieve parity in business leadership roles, they will be marginalized in every other area, and the pay gap will remain. It’s time to make good on the promise of equality and to build inclusive workplaces where women and men are given equal chances to succeed at all levels, and earn equal pay at those levels.
