EMEA Virtual Roundtable: Supporting Talent Inclusively in a Flexible Future
The impact of Covid-19 has meant that organisations are having to look at talent through two lenses – firstly, the ‘new now’ and how to support employees today, and secondly, planning to support employees in an agile, inclusive way in whatever the ‘new normal’ is in the future. We know the pandemic is creating more awareness and dialogue around inclusion, but it is also having a detrimental effect on gender equality where women are disproportionately losing ground and losing jobs. We also see that this pandemic is affecting different people, in different ways, and at different times.
As organisations move forward, how do they manage and support talent in a fair and equitable way? Whilst some workers will not want to return to an office where they feel unsafe, some will be sprinting back to the ‘place of work’ so important to them. Again others simply can’t go to an office due to child care or career commitments. How do organisations create an environment where, regardless of your situation, you won’t be overlooked for promotion and hot jobs, and that you will have the same visibility and opportunities as others? How can we support managers to create this environment, and how do organisations make informed decisions around allowing talent to flourish in these uncertain times?
Join us for a discussion where John Whalen, Senior Director, Catalyst and Caroline Pickard, Catalyst Ambassador, will take participants through some of the key challenges facing our supporters, and highlight, together with our panelists, how their particular organisations are looking to tackle these challenges. There is also opportunity for a relaxed, collaborative discussion where we encourage other supporters to share their organisation’s experiences, insight and practices.
We invite business leaders, HR professionals, D&I professionals, and champions of inclusion to join the dialogue. Registration is complimentary for Catalyst Supporters. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. For questions, please contact John Whalen at [email protected]
