In today’s climate, it has never been more imperative that everyone engage in the hard work of challenging conversations to disrupt bias and understand each other’s unique experiences and perspectives. There are no simple solutions, but there are tools that can help individuals start and sustain conversations across differences, while building understanding and empathy—which can foster and strengthen an inclusive workplace.
For authentic conversations to be effective, participants must be willing to discuss difficult topics and sometimes experience discomfort. With the combination of research and personal stories, attendees will learn how to engage in conversations across differences, build empathy and acquire greater inclusive communication skills.
