COVID-19 has upended the workplace in multiple ways. How and where we work are just two of the seismic changes felt by employees and employers around the globe. The impact COVID-19 continues to have on working parents and caregivers—and primarily working mothers—includes continued job losses along with seemingly insurmountable childcare and mental-health challenges. These crises threaten women’s economic gains globally as they fall behind—and may stay behind—creating a lost generation of women’s labour-force participation.
This is also an opportunity for organizations to be bold – to chart a new course for a reimagined workplace centered on inclusion and inclusive leadership in a post COVID era.
