After an extremely popular event in January, we welcome supporter organisations a further opportunity to explore the role of men as advocates for and supporters of diversity and inclusion initiatives. In 2019 men continue to occupy the majority of powerful positions in our organisations, meaning they are excellently placed to influence change and support the creation of inclusive company cultures. However, this support and advocacy is often untapped, even though recent research by Boston Consulting Group shows that among companies where men are actively involved in gender diversity, 96 % report progress – compared to only 30% if men are not involved.
This lively interactive discussion will cover questions such as:
How can we engage and develop more male champions of inclusion?
How can we ensure that men and women work together as allies in changing organisational norms and cultures?
What actions and behaviours are necessary and impactful?
How do companies and individuals benefit from successful cross-gender partnerships?
We invite business leaders, HR professionals, D&I professionals, and champions of inclusion to join the dialogue. Female participants are asked to bring a male colleague. Registration is complimentary for Catalyst Supporters.
