As Europe begins to ‘go back to work’, which lessons of the last few months cannot and should not be lost on us? With changes in the work/home dynamic, workplace gender partnership has come under intense pressure. This new reality brings changes to roles and responsibilities – and with it the challenge for leadership to be more intentionally inclusive than ever before. For example, how have leaders balanced the additional caregiving responsibilities of their teams with the expectation that work continues at full capacity, whilst the lines between private and work life have become further blurred.
This roundtable develops our initial re-examining Gender Partnerships at work during COVID-19 by taking a deeper look into the interchangeability of gender roles, highlighting the opportunity to push for behavioural change by not just the acts of individuals as partners, but supported by fully inclusive leaders as we re-enter the workplace in a truly equitable way.
The dialogue will be facilitated by Dr Isabelle Kürschner, Caroline Pickard and Jorge Ortiz with contributions from Catalyst’s EMEA-based team, the global MARC team, and local Supporters.
We invite inclusive leaders, change advocates and DEI and HR experts to join us, and encourage female attendees to invite a male colleague.
