Building an Inclusion & Diversity StrategyMay 24, 2019
At Catalyst we believe that an organization’s diversity and inclusion strategy should be aligned with its business goals and company values, and grounded in the real needs of the organisation – based on hard data. A successful strategy focuses on creating an inclusive culture that is both sustainable and unique to the organization.
This lively interactive discussion will cover areas such as:
• The business case and getting beyond it
• Identifying champions of inclusion, the role of senior leadership, and creating structures to support
• Key activities within a strategy and their rationale and communication
• Accountability, transparency and the using measurable results
Local Catalyst Consultant Caroline Pickard and Catalyst Director Jorge Ortiz will share insights from Catalyst research that shows that when people feel included, they are recognized for the distinct characteristics they bring to the team and feel as though they are true insiders, as well as our collected resources on building a case for inclusion and diversity. We’ll also share highlights from case studies from our extensive collection of practices and Catalyst Award winning initiatives. Participants are encouraged to share success stories, practices and challenges.
