Intersectionality and Otherness: How Leaders Can Address Multiple Dimenions of Inclusion and Exclusion at Work
Hosted by: IBM
Join Catalyst, IBM, EY and QBE and other Catalyst supporters for an interactive session that will explore the impact of otherness and the power of inclusion. We all have multiple and intersecting identities (our genders, ages, cultures, faiths, upbringing and so on) – they make each of us who we are. Catalyst research shows that those with multiple dimensions of otherness can be more acutely impacted by exclusion at work, while those who experience inclusion are much more likely to be highly engaged and innovative. Which experience are your leaders more likely to create?
Given that real life occurs at the intersections (not in neat diversity segments), the ability to be inclusive across multiple dimensions is a core competency of leaders who act in the best interests of their teams and their business. Learn from Catalyst and our supporters about how to address exclusion, and create inclusion across intersectional, diverse teams.
