Nikia Montgomery is a Director, Community Expert here at Catalyst, Inc. In this role, Nikia aids Catalyst’s Supporters who are working to improve their culture by doing the essential work of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Nikia aligns with the goals of her partners and provides guidance through their journey sharing the value of being a Catalyst Supporter and ensures all the available resources are utilized fully. Nikia has 25 years of sales and account management expertise which she transitioned into the field of DEI to follow her passion to make change that will not only evolve workplaces to be more inclusive, but to create a better world for all. Nikia possesses the ability to connect with people, making them feel safe and able to be vulnerable. Her number one Clifton Strength is WOO (Winning Others Over). Nikia completed her Master of Business and Administration from Webster University and received a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from Southern University of Florida. She is an Ambassador of the Heartland Chapter of the Lupus Foundation where she helps to raise funds, educate the public, and fight for a cure.

When not working to create safe spaces for all people, enjoying life is Nikia’s goal. A few of her favorite activities include spending time with family and friends, cuddling with her Pom-poo, traveling, and trying new foods.
