Austin was a Talent Acquisition Associate at Catalyst. He searches for diverse and talented individuals to propel the needs of the organization forward.

Prior to joining Catalyst, Austin was a Human Resources Associate soon after completing his bachelor’s in psychology and human resources. His focus was on talent acquisition, negotiations, and project management on a global scale.

Austin attended Johnston Community College for his associate degree, then transferred to North Carolina State University in Raleigh. He completed his studies during the pandemic as the first member of his family to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Austin is a first-generation Mexican-American.

Outside of work, Austin likes to read, watch movies, go thrifting, travel, try new restaurants, learn new skills (such as sewing and ceramics), go to concerts, and collect vintage items and vinyl records.
