Angelica Puzio Ferrara, PhD
Angelica Puzio Ferrara, PhD, was a research fellow at MARC and is a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University’s Clayman Institute for Gender Research. Trained as a developmental and social psychologist, her work seeks to understand how gender ideologies shape behavior and relationships. At Catalyst, Angelica researched how cultural norms of manhood and masculinity influence men’s engagement with gender equity efforts at work. An additional stream of her research examines boys’ and men’s desire for and struggles with cultivating same-gender friendships throughout history and across cultures. Prior to her postdoctoral research, Angelica earned her PhD in developmental psychology at New York University.
