Krista Brookman is a Vice President at Catalyst. In her role with the Catalyst Inclusive Leadership Initiative, she is developing products to transform diversity research, expertise, and advocacy into innovative, skill-building leadership development experiences for leaders. Her work includes the Catalyst Leading With Inclusion courses and CatalystX on edX – the global online learning platform. She, is the co-lead of ERLI and the Employee Resource Group specialty team, is the relationship manager for several Catalyst member organizations,and previously served on Catalyst’s Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Krista has spent nearly 20 years in marketing,business development, and managerial positions with her latest role at Deloitte. At Deloitte, Krista directed the national marketing and communication efforts for Deloitte’s manufacturing practice where she developed the Women in Manufacturing initiative in collaboration with several manufacturing trade associations. In addition, Krista served as the local marketing leader for Deloitte’s Women’s Initiative and Diversity & Inclusion programs.
In 2011, Krista co-founded the Women's Affinity Alliance, which is the first collaborative resource group dedicated to the progressive development of corporate women's affinity/resource groups in the greater Milwaukee area.
In addition, Krista is active in a number of professional and community business organizations and currently serves on the board of directors for Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast. She previously served on the board of directors for TEMPO, the advisory board for Women in Manufacturing, and is also a member of Milwaukee Women inc and Professional Dimensions. In 2013, Krista was recognized as a “40 Under 40” by the Business Journal of Milwaukee. She has presented, moderated panels, and led workshops with companies on women in business, inclusive leadership, and diversity topics. Earlier this year, Krista presented at the Global Competitiveness Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Krista received a BA and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
