Welcome to Catalyzing— the Catalyst blog!  Catalyst is the leading non-profit engaged in building inclusive workplaces and advancing women and business. As its President and CEO, I spend a chunk of my time reading, writing and speaking on the topic of women in business leadership. Nearly every day I come across interesting articles, reports, books, surveys and investigations into this topic. So what better way to share my discoveries, thoughts and ideas than with a blog?

I joined Catalyst in 2003 with the belief that until women achieve parity in private-sector decision-making, we will be marginalized in every other arena. Catalyzing is about making this change happen. This blog tracks news, emerging research and debates in the area of women and business.
