For many people from all walks of life, experiences of sexism in the workplace are far too common. While everyone has an important role to play in combatting sexism, men are uniquely situated to press for change because they hold the majority of positions of power.
Join this Catalyst roundtable as we review the new tool, How To Tackle Negative Workplace Climates Head-On that outlines how to identify and address the symptoms of three negative organizational climates: climate of silence, combative culture, and climate of futility. We will discuss what influences men’s willingness and ability to interrupt sexist behaviours, and how these climates can affect many different components of the workplace.
We invite executives, HR leaders, diversity, equity and inclusion practitioners, and champions of inclusion from other parts of your business to join us for this important dialogue. Registration is complimentary for Catalyst supporter organizations. Registration is required.
Speakers:
Dr. Julie Cafley, Executive Director, Catalyst Canada
Sarah DiMuccio, PhD, Senior Associate, MARC
