What is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council? A diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) council serves as an organization’s advisory board and is comprised of individuals from different backgrounds and teams who guide action on the company’s DEI agenda.
Diversity councils are popular vehicles for creating organizational change and help provide focus and strategic direction to workplace initiatives. DEI councils, as part of a strategic diversity management plan, are an inclusive and effective mechanism for managing these changes.
