Join us alongside 70 women of color, executive champions, and decision-makers for just over half a day of workshops, presentations, and candid discussion on the challenges faced by women of color and real short-term and long-term solutions for sustainable change.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • The enduring significance of race: Why is it important to continue to focus on race in diversity and inclusion discussions?

  • Challenges unique to women of color: What obstacles do women of color face that others do not?

  • Champions: How do high-level champions within an organization create positive impact?

  • Relationships with managers: How can women of color develop solid, supportive relationships with managers?

  • Accountability: How can organizations create accountability systems for processes that focus not just on end results, but on the relationship dynamics between women of color and their managers?

This event is particularly relevant to executive champions, sponsors of Employee Resource Groups, diversity and inclusion professionals, and women of color line managers.

There will be a pre-event networking dinner on Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 at the W Hotel Washington DC.
