The European Commission has just unveiled its ambitious Apply AI Strategy, which aims to accelerate AI adoption across strategic industries and public services and shifts the global conversation around AI from possibility to responsibility. President Ursula von der Leyen declared, “I want the future of AI to be made in Europe,” prioritising safety, speed, and sector-wide transformation. But as AI becomes a cornerstone of innovation, Catalyst’s research and advocacy emphasise that AI must be inclusive.
