According to the Canadian Federal Jurisdiction Workplace Survey, there were 295 formal complaints of sexual harassment brought to the attention of employers in one recent year. About 80% of the complaints were from women. Online survey respondents reported that sexual harassment was experienced by 30%, violence by 21% and sexual violence by 3%.

The wave of stories emerging as part of the #MeToo movement and Time’s Up initiative have inspired renewed calls for change within the workplace. A majority of men and women want to be part of the solution. This roundtable provides an opportunity to engage in a dialogue about the changes required, along with suggestions for organizations and leaders committed to making change.
