It is no coincidence that many recent Catalyst Award winners have Business Networks and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) - voluntary, employee-led groups - embedded firmly in their organisation’s inclusion and culture programmes. In fact, Catalyst research has shown that employee resource groups (ERGs) are important engines of employee engagement and drive business innovation and results. They can have considerable impact on future leadership development, increase employee engagement and expand marketplace reach, and over 80% of Catalyst supporter organisations surveyed had at least one ERG.
