As Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, Michael is a key member of Catalyst's leadership team responsible for developing both short- and long-term partnership initiatives designed to ensure optimal growth, amplification, and sustainability of the organization and its mission-critical efforts. Prior to this role, Michael served as Vice President, Global Events & Men Advocating Real Change (MARC) Community, where he oversaw the planning and execution of Catalyst’s in-person and virtual events and community engagement. Earlier in his Catalyst career Michael established brand management as an essential function within the organization's operating model and oversaw all global marketing efforts until December 2017. Michael joined Catalyst in 2005 as a member of the Consulting Services group, working with organizations to assess their workplace environments and develop customized strategies to further workplace diversity and inclusion.
Michael received his MBA in International Business Management from the University of Rhode Island, winning the Michael Roher Memorial Award for academic excellence and contributions toward the MBA program. He graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and French from the University of Rhode Island.
Michael is currently a New York State delegate, and first male delegate, to Drexel University's Vision 2020, a national coalition of organizations and individuals united in the commitment to achieve women’s economic and social equality. Michael was also a 2014 Aspen Ideas Fesitval Scholar.
