As Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, Michael is a key member of Catalyst's leadership team responsible for developing, overseeing, and building upon both short- and long-term strategic partnership initiatives designed to ensure optimal growth, amplification, and sustainability of the organization and its mission-critical efforts. Michael regularly evaluates the viability of outside brand and business partners, alliances, and joint ventures in support of the successful development and implementation of strategic efforts that create workplaces that work for everyone and, ultimately, accelerate progress for women in business.
Prior to this role, Michael served as Vice President, Global Events & Men Advocating Real Change (MARC) Community, where he oversaw the planning and execution of Catalyst’s events and community engagement. Earlier in his Catalyst career Michael established brand management as an essential fuction within the organization's operating model and oversaw all global marketing efforts until December 2017. Michael joined Catalyst in 2005 as a member of the Consulting Services group, working with organizations to assess their workplace environments and develop customized strategies to further workplace diversity and inclusion.
Michael is currently a New York State delegate, and the first male delegate, to Vision 2020, a national coalition of organizations and individuals united in the commitment to achieve women’s economic and social equality, founded and is administered by the Institute for Women's Health and Leadership at Drexel University.
Michael received his MBA in International Business Management from the University of Rhode Island, winning the Michael Roher Memorial Award for academic excellence and contributions toward the MBA program. He graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and French from the University of Rhode Island.
