Hybrid Event: Inclusion and the Future of Work: Creating Successful Hybrid Workplaces

The current post-lockdown period has seen employers reopening office spaces, yet we are still far away from a “new normal”. Remote, back to the office, hybrid – many are still trying to find their way into new work routines. While Catalyst research shows that flexible working arrangements boost employee well-being, productivity, innovation, and inclusion, balancing this with the benefits of in-person collaboration can be challenging. As we reimagine the workplace to be more equitable and inclusive, the future of work should be designed intentionally with inclusion at the forefront, empowering workers with choices.

We will explore such questions as:

• How can we find policies that work best for both company and employee without relying on a ‘one-size-fits all’ model?
• How can we ensure the feeling of belonging and commitment enhanced by working together, whilst offering workplace flexibility?
• Can we use key skills of inclusion such as empathy and courage to foster an environment of trust and psychological safety?

True to the word of flexibility, this meeting will be run in a hybrid setting – both virtual and in person attendance is welcome. The roundtable will be facilitated by Dr. Isabelle Kürschner (Consultant, DACH) and Jessica Taylor-Hall (Director, Corporate Engagement EMEA). Together, our goal is to create a rich experience by sharing what we know about the workplace and its impact on people. We also want to listen to you and learn about the challenges you are facing.
