Join us in a conversation on the role of managers in interrupting sexism.
Interrupting Sexism At Work is a Catalyst research initiative exploring organizational conditions that encourage or discourage men from intervening when they witness incidences of sexism in the workplace. The latest report (the fourth in the series) is based on data from six European countries and focuses on the role of the manager and how manager openness influences the likelihood of men interrupting sexism.
Managers are uniquely positioned to influence employees’ perceptions of whether the workplace atmosphere and culture will reward or punish speaking up about sexism or other issues. So what can organizations and managers do to ensure that men feel comfortable speaking up?
We’ll unpack some of the key research findings, summarize recommendations for action and share some practical examples of learning from recent MARC dialogues with our supporter companies.
Catalyst’s Rikia Birindelli-Fayne, Senior Director, Corporate Engagement, EMEA and Ludo Gabriele, Senior Director, MARC Branding will lead the discussion and we welcome participation from managers, inclusion champions from all areas of business, DEI practitioners and HR leaders.
Registration is complimentary but mandatory.
