Summary of Responsibilities

Under the leadership of the Vice President, US Corporate Engagement & Strategy, this account management and relationship professional is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of existing supporter organizations. This is a “solutions-oriented” position which uses consultative sales techniques and has a heavy focus on deepening engagement with Catalyst supporter organizations. The role serves as the primary Relationship Manager to develop and maintain in-depth relationships with assigned organizations, cultivates engagement growth and cross-sell opportunities within the Catalyst suite of offerings, and participates in high-profile external events. This position can be based remotely anywhere on the East Coast of the United States or can sit in the Catalyst headquarter offices in New York City.

Education and Experience Requirements

The Senior Associate position requires a minimum of a B.A., B.S., or equivalent, preferably in business, marketing, social science, organizational development, or a related field of study. Also requires five or more years of progressively responsible business development, relationship management, consultative sales, client service, member relations, or consulting work experience. Experience with human resources, diversity efforts, and/or fundraising is a plus.
