Margaret grew up in a tiny town in rural Nova Scotia. Hours spent listening in on her family’s shared party telephone line taught her that stories are the currency of life. This inspired her to pursue a career telling stories for two of Canada’s national broadcast networks. She then shifted to become a corporate storyteller and strategic communications leader for several public and private sector companies including a university, a gambling company, a technology start-up, and a global management consulting firm.
In 2010, she was chosen as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 business leaders. Margaret now proudly helps tell Catalyst’s story to the world. She studied French at Université Sainte-Anne, Law and Journalism at Carleton University, and Business at Harvard Business School.
