Lauren Pasquarella Daley, PhD, joined Catalyst in June 2013 as part of the Information Center. As a fact checking specialist, Dr. Daley works across departments on all Catalyst content ranging from Communications to Research, develops fact-checking standards and processes, and thoroughly researches all facts, assertions, and sources to verify accuracy. In her role, Dr. Daley also trains and collaborates with other staff members on fact-checking procedures to ensure Catalyst’s high commitment to accuracy in our work.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Dr. Daley worked in university career services for 10 years where she was involved in researching, speaking, teaching, and counseling students on career development concerns. She also has 12 years experience in diversity and inclusion issues, through research, teaching, publications, speaking engagements, and committee work in the academic community. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has extensive experience presenting at international and national events on topics related to women’s issues in the workplace, career development, and diversity and inclusion.
Dr. Daley is a former President of the Florida Career Development Association and is part of the National Career Development Association’s Leadership Academy. She earned her PhD in Counselor Education from the University of Florida, her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and her BS in Psychology from the University of Florida.
