As Vice President, Marketing, Michael Chamberlain is responsible for the care and promotion of the Catalyst brand and reputation, as well as the development and production oversight of product packaging and communication strategies. Responsibilities include assessing external perceptions of the organization by target audiences and creating consistent positioning across, and external to, Catalyst. In addition to brand management, Mr. Chamberlain oversees the Editorial and Publishing functions, as well as the Design teams at Catalyst. For brand and reputation development and expansion, as well as Mission impact purposes, Mr. Chamberlain oversees Partnership/Affiliate identification and development.
Mr. Chamberlain joined Catalyst in 2005 as a member of the Consulting Services group, working with organizations to assess their workplace environments and develop customized strategies to further workplace diversity and inclusion. Mr. Chamberlain plans and oversees all Catalyst events related to Catalyst initiatives, member and non-member convening opportunities, and the signature fundraising events series. Mr. Chamberlain is an advisor to Catalyst's Mentoring and Employee Resource Group Issue Specialty Team and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Affinity Group, building internal expertise and frequently speaking to corporate audiences and the media on these topics, as well as engaging men in gender initiatives and women’s leadership.
Mr. Chamberlain received his M.B.A. in International Business Management from the University of Rhode Island, winning the Michael Roher Memorial Award for academic excellence and contributions toward the M.B.A. program. He graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and French from the University of Rhode Island.
