Buying Power
- Asian-American buying power has increased from $115.4 billion in 1990 to $543.7 billion in 2010 and is projected to climb to $775.1 billion in 2015.16
- The percentage change in Asian-Americans’ buying power between 1990 and 2015 is 571.9%.17
- Asian-Americans’ share of the consumer market was 4.9% in 2010, and is predicted to rise to 5.5% in 2015. 18
