Australia

The Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA) is an Australian government entity specifically created to administer the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act of 1999. EOWA is a Catalyst census partner and produces the co-branded annual Australian Census of Women in Leadership, which tracks the advancement of Australia’s women in the workplace.

Catalyst and the Diversity Council Australia have also shared knowledge in the area of supporting women at work

Japan

Catalyst and the Japan Women’s Innovative Network (J-Win) are “sister” organizations and share knowledge about the advancement of women in the workplace in Japan. J-Win and Catalyst work together to translate selected Catalyst research reports into Japanese for worldwide distribution. Five titles are currently available, which Catalyst members may download for free on the Catalyst website. Print versions may be purchased through J-Win at info@j-win.jp; by phone at 81-3-3667-3100; or by fax at 81-3-3667-3440. The price for J-Win members is ¥3,000, and for non-J-Win members it is ¥5,000.

Additionally, J-Win members participate in Catalyst Member Benchmarking, an annual assessment in which members contribute data on diversity, allowing comparisons with others in their industries, Catalyst members, and organizations whose initiatives to advance women have won the Catalyst Award.

South Africa

The Businesswomen’s Association (BWA) is the largest association of business and professional women in South Africa. BWA, a Catalyst census friend, issues its South African Census of Women in Corporate Leadership annually, seeking to measure advancement of South Africa’s women in business. BWA censuses in 2004 and 2005 were produced in conjunction with Catalyst.
