  • Ensuring high-quality data collection, analysis and synthesis of findings and recommendations.
  • Assisting in new business development.
  • Representing Catalyst externally through the dissemination of information and strategic messaging to corporate audiences, the general public and the media.
  • Aiding in creating a knowledge-building and learning environment both for clients and Catalyst Europe through the development of knowledge systems, administrative tools and procedures.
  • Developing recognition as an expert of an "issue specialty" area among internal and external audiences.
  • Recommending Catalyst tools and services to fulfill specific member needs as they become apparent by maintaining in-depth knowledge of Catalyst's areas of expertise and service offerings.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, project management, human resources and/or change management.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree, or local equivalent (advanced degrees or MBA desirable, but not required).
  • Fluent English (oral and written); other main European languages a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy in a networked Windows environment; spreadsheet and database software literacy a plus.
  • EU passport or appropriate work permit; residency in Switzerland.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of professional experience and considerable knowledge of some or all of the following subject areas: talent management, global gender equality issues, global diversity, change within complex organizations, senior leadership coaching, performance management systems, presentation skills, group facilitation, and the development of workshops, products, tools and services.

The candidate possesses a global outlook and cultural sensitivity. She or he is familiar with issues facing the business world and corporate environments and is able to grasp them to form a compelling bigger picture and communicate it through data, information and/or best practices. She or he excels at project management and problem-solving and is highly conceptual and creative. The candidate is capable of high-caliber yet nuanced written and oral expression and is comfortable with group facilitation/workshop leadership. In addition, she or he is able to thrive in a highly team-oriented yet virtual work environment.

Working Conditions

  • Multiple priorities and (varying) tight deadlines.
  • Exposure to sensitive member company documents; confidentiality required.
