Diversity and Inclusion Councils
Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Councils can take on many roles in support of an organization’s D&I vision, such as strategic advisors, directors, monitors, liaisons, and/or champions. Whatever role they take on, councils have an important part to play: they can align inclusion definitions and operations with business conduct and strategy, communicate the business case for diversity, and embed D&I values as cultural pillars. Councils are also beneficial in that they provide a unique vehicle to bring together a cross-section of organizational experts and thought leaders to address business issues together.
