Sunniva Sorby's rich background and extensive skills in public speaking, customer service, leadership, and problem solving help her contribute to the development and successful delivery of Catalyst member services and events in the Quebec market. 

Ms. Sorby’s abilities to build and maintain business relationships has proven effective in her effort to provide equal opportunities for women in a variety of areas. For the past several decades she has divided her time between making keynote presentations on a global basis, grant writing and research, and project planning and management on a variety of levels.

Ms. Sorby was the founder and lead organizer of the TAE Expedition across Greenland and a member of the first all-women expedition to the South Pole. In addition to being the founder of G.U.T.S. (Girls Understanding Their Strengths), Ms. Sorby has been a manager for numerous nonprofit organizations focused on children, education, the arts, and training and leading teams and customer service. In 2002, she was named a “woman of the year” by the State of California. Ms. Sorby received her Bachelor of Arts in Business-Economics from Bishops University in Quebec.
