1. Why don't my username and password work?
The Catalyst website was relaunched on December 5, 2012, with new community features and functionality. All visitors to the site, including those who had a username and password on our old site, must register again to fully experience the site and access members-only content (if your organization is a Catalyst member). We apologize for the inconvenience.

2. I am a woman looking for career advice—can Catalyst help me?
Catalyst works with corporations and professional firms, rather than individual women, to assure the advancement of women in the workplace. An exception is our Corporate Board Services group, which assists women from our member companies who are qualified for, and interested in, board appointments. (See the following question). However, the Catalyst website does list resources that offer career-related advice (networking, mentoring, entrepreneurship), as well as information about scholarships and grants, personal finance, and legal issues.

3. Does Catalyst assist companies looking for women board directors—or women interested in serving on corporate boards?
Yes. Our Corporate Board Services group provides referrals for companies, professional firms, and other organizations seeking qualified women board candidates. In addition, CBS works with women executives at Catalyst member organizations, providing assistance on positioning for board appointments.

4. Is our company permitted to put Catalyst content, including the Catalyst logo, on our website?
Click here for information about the use of Catalyst materials, including the Catalyst logo. A form is provided to request permission.

5. Does Catalyst offer grants?
No, Catalyst does not offer grants. A list of resources for women seeking career-related advice appears on the Catalyst website. Included are organizations that may provide grant support.

6. Where would I find data and research about women’s advancement and diversity and inclusion in global businesses?
Browse our Knowledge Center for the information Catalyst offers on these subjects. You can narrow your search by filtering for specific topics, and by industry, geography, and publication date; you can also filter by the different types of knowledge product that Catalyst publishes. Although some offerings are restricted to users affiliated with Catalyst member organizations, most can be downloaded free of charge by the public. In addition, most Research reports are available in print and may be purchased.

7. Whom do I contact for answers to my questions about women's advancement and related issues if I cannot find the information on the Catalyst website?
If you are a visitor affiliated with a member company, a scholar, or an interested individual, visit the Ask Catalyst page under Services, and fill out the form. We will reply promptly with an answer. If you are a member of the media, visit our Media Center for the appropriate contact.

8. My company is a member of Catalyst—what does that mean for me?
As a user affiliated with a Catalyst member organization, you are able to access the rich array of Catalyst content that is restricted to member-affiliated users. If you haven’t already registered as an individual, do so here, or log in using your user name and password. Visit the Membership Benefits page under Membership for a summary of these offerings.

9. Where can I find information about programs that organizations have implemented to advance women and foster diversity and inclusion?
Browse our Knowledge Center and filter under Type for Practices, and click on the Practice that interests you. Each is a program, or “initiative,” implemented by a particular company. You will come to a page with a description of the program. Users affiliated with Catalyst member organizations can download the description of the program itself by clicking the “Download” button on that  page.

10. May I purchase Catalyst’s Research reports?
