1. I am having trouble registering or logging in to the website. What can I do?
If you are having trouble registering or logging in to our site, please check the following common issues:

a) Did you go through the registration process? If not, please click Register at the top right corner of the homepage.

b) Did you complete the registration process by clicking the email you should have received with a link to click in order to set up a password?  If not, find the message in your email (it may be in your junk mail) and click through to complete the registration process by setting up a password. If you didn’t receive the email, reach out to us at [email protected] for further assistance.

c) Did you complete the registration process correctly, but when you try to sign in you get an error message that says, “Sorry, unrecognized username or password.”? You may log in with either the username you chose when you registered or the email address that you registered with. If you have tried both of those and are still getting the error message, then you are probably using the incorrect password. Request a new password by clicking the tab on the log in page. You will receive an email from the system, and it will have the title: “Replacement login information for USERNAME at Catalyst,” For example, if it says "Replacement login information for JaneD at Catalyst," then “JaneD” is the username that you chose when you registered. The email will contain a link for you to click to log in and choose a new password. If you can't find the email, please check your junk mail.

2. I am a woman looking for career advice—can Catalyst help me?
Catalyst works with corporations and professional firms, rather than individual women, to assure the advancement of women in the workplace. An exception is our Corporate Board Services group, which assists women from our member companies who are qualified for, and interested in, board appointments. (See the following question). However, the Catalyst website does list resources that offer career-related advice (networking, mentoring, entrepreneurship), as well as information about scholarships and grants, personal finance, and legal issues.

3. Does Catalyst assist companies looking for women board directors—or women interested in serving on corporate boards?
Yes. Our Corporate Board Services group provides referrals for companies, professional firms, and other organizations seeking qualified women board candidates. In addition, CBS works with women executives at Catalyst member organizations, providing assistance on positioning for board appointments.

Visit our Brand Center for information about the use of Catalyst materials, including the Catalyst logo and forms for requesting permission.

5. Does Catalyst offer grants?
