Critical conversations are open-ended, judgment-free discussions where the goal is to learn and explore different perspectives. As described in Catalyst’s recent report, Anatomy of Change: How Inclusive Cultures Evolve, candid yet respectful dialogue about our differences (and lots of it) is the foundation for building a more inclusive workplace and achieving concrete change.

During this interactive webinar, MARC (Men Advocating Real Change) members and bloggers shared personal stories about learning from our differences. The discussion was led by Catalyst’s Mike Otterman, Program Manager, Men Advocating Real Change Catalyst, and Jeanine Prime, Vice President & Center Leader, Catalyst Research Center for Advancing Leader Effectiveness, alongside Michael Kimmel, SUNY University Distinguished Professor of Sociology at SUNY Stony Brook, and Steven Stall, Business Manager, Operations, Customer Support and Maintenance at Rockwell Automation.
