Corporate Engagement Coordinator

Summary of Responsibilities

The Coordinator provides support for development and revenue-generating activities undertaken by the Corporate Engagement department. This position focuses on corporate Supporter activity, maintenance, reporting, and relationship management. The Coordinator also provides all administrative support for department staff. This position is based in the New York City office.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for departmental revenue-generating activities: inputting and reconciling financial data, monthly Supporter billing, outstanding invoice follow-up, tracking, and reporting.

  • Providing general day-to-day administrative support for department staff.

  • Updating database and records.

  • Maintaining department files.

  • Providing support and guidance to relationship managers.

  • Serving as a relationship manager to designated companies.

  • Onboarding new department staff (i.e., Salesforce training, internal processes).

  • Preparing resources, packets, and letters for outreach to Supporters.

  • Communicate with external contacts and Supporters in a professional and courteous manner. 

  • Be able to answer questions, problem solve and relay information regarding Catalyst’s mission, research, services, and solutions.

  • Serve as Relationship Manager to a designated portfolio of Catalyst corporate supporters, maintaining regular contact regarding upcoming Catalyst events/research and stakeholders’ needs and issues, as well as communicating Catalyst offerings and following up on various requests. 

Knowledge and Skills
  • High level of computer literacy in a networked Windows environment, including database management (knowledge of Salesforce a plus). 

  • General understanding of business environments and issues facing women in the workplace.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, and very detail-oriented.

  • Ability to work well independently or with a team, using effective organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills.

  • Great proofreading skills.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to juggle multiple project responsibilities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to participate actively and appropriately in internal and external meetings.

  • Resilience and flexibility; ability to operate effectively under conditions of uncertainty.

Education and Experience Requirements

This position requires a BA/BS. One to two years of progressive experience is a plus.

Salary and Compensation

This is an entry level position with starting salary of $43,000 annually. Catalyst offers a very generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverages, 403B contribution/match and a very generous PTO policy.
