March 8 is 2016 International Women's Day, and we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women. This year as we mark the strides women have made, we must also acknowledge that progress has stalled on several fronts. Thus the theme for this year’s day is #PledgeForParity. Often, we don’t think we, as individuals, can make much of a difference but in this issue of C-News we’ll offer several ways you and your organization can help women on the path to parity.

Nominate an Emerging Leader
The Catalyst Canada Honours annually recognizes exceptional role models for accelerating progress for women through workplace inclusion. In 2016, Catalyst Canada is expanding the program to also recognize a group of Emerging Leaders at its annual gala dinner. These are not executives, but women and men who are driving inclusion from the middle. Nominations for Champions and Emerging Leaders are due March 31, 2016.
